BACK2VALUES Training Course (Piles, Spain)

Aiming to enhance creativity and both body and verbal expression of the participants improving their self-confidence; To increase the capacity of participants by giving them new skills and abilities, making them capable of applying the learned methods with youth; To create a space where participants can share and learn methods,
tools, techniques and experiences in order to mutually improve their daily basis work through Performing and visual arts workshops, activities, and practical exercises combined with some theory (non-formal methodologies).

ART4CHANGE Training Course (Miramar, Spain)

A second edition of the succesful training course was carried out near Reykavik in Iceland.


DON’T MIND THE GAP Youth Exchange (Piles, Spain)

Written and facilitated by one of our European Voluntary Service while participating in her project. Aiming to empower young people and give them more self-esteem and self-confidence as well as to encourage them to be socially active introducing key tools for conflict resolution and encouraging participants to see the problems as
challenges and opportunities in order to improve the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship.


2017

ACTORS OF TRANSITION Youth Exchange (Denia, Spain)

This project was a follow-up of the international qualification course “Actors of Transition” looking to promote active European citizenship, sustainability and de-growth societies. It consisted of 3 seminars in Germany, Poland and Moldova as well as projects by the participants. Based on this the aim of “Actors of Transition II” is to get inspiration, exchange about tools and develop cooperation for socio-ecological transition in Europe. After completing the course participants should be able to deal with and apply concepts of socio-ecological transition in your country and Europe; to have learned, exchanged & practiced approaches and methods to foster socio-ecological transition in your region and through educational events; and to have strengthened the network of “Actors of Transition” and developed cooperation on transition and sustainable development.


EMPOWERING CONSCIOUSNESS Youth Exchange (Gandia, Spain)

This youth exchange based on non-formal education methodologies involved key elements for youth like learning routines, breathing, movement and awareness exercises, meditation or self-defence techniques. Youth from Italy, Portugal, United Kingdom, Greece, Poland and Spain, with different cultures and ways of understanding life learnt and grew together as individuals and also to develop their team work spirit.


MESSENGERS4SOCIETY Training Course (Benicassim, Spain)

The aim of the project was to try to tackle social problems, inform young people about social entrepreneurship field and motivate them to think about deepening their knowledge and desire to act as social messengers. The project aims to provide participants with relevant knowledge and skills to start understanding what social entrepreneurship is, to review and encounter different social issues, find approaches and ways for promoting them, to develop respect, empathy and tolerance towards their society and also to provoke change and improvement of behaviour of participants for a larger capacity of communication between people from different cultures.


MOVE IT Youth Exchange (Piles, Spain)

Using a personal development approach, body movement and dance as tools we provided youth with the context where they can connect with themselves, connect with others, and have a healthier approach to life. In 6 days they learnt, played and experimented by moving on their own or together in multicultural group of 30 young people from Hungary, Portugal, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Georgia and Spain.


21 STEPS TO YOUTH SUCCESS Youth Exchange (Murcia, Spain)

In collaboration with non-profit organisation Prorise, the project 21 steps to youth success was a youth exchange which gathered in Murcia (Spain) a group of 20 people from 4 European countries (Latvia, Romania, Poland and Spain) in order to create a space for understanding the benefits of time management and responsible habits among young people with the final aim of obtaining success in their personal and professional development.


2018

RE-CONNECT Youth Exchange (Piles, Spain)

This project was written and facilitated by a group of former participants in one of our Youth Exchanges in Gandia. They worked with the topics of IDENTITY: limits and beliefs, stereotypes, gender equality and success through stretching body, creative writing, and team building activities, doing TED-talk presentations by participants; CONNECT TO YOURSELF: body movement, yoga and meditation to release tension, open up body, minds ,and creativity; COMMUNICATION: social habits, self-expression, needs, and trust by using yoga, dance and non-violent communication as well as theater of oppressed; CREATIVITY and EMPLOYABILITY: creativity, and supportive environment; collage of “dream job”; S.M.A.R.T.; YOUR BUSINESS, YOUR FOCUS!


GREEN BITE Youth Exchange (Xeresa, Spain)

This YE was written and facilitated by one of our former EVS volunteers from Romania. Her idea was to make a project in order to promote healthy lifestyle and environmental entrepreneurship among youth, in order to prevent obesity and pathologies linked to nutritional disorders or sedentary life.


DISCOVER WHAT’S POSSIBLE Youth Exchange (Alborache, Spain)

It was a project written with our partner ICPI from Georgia about youth unemployment. Just like the general unemployment rate, youth unemployment is recorded and monitored to gauge the job market situation in a country and worldwide. Usually youth unemployment is higher than adult unemployment, since many graduates do not find employment right after they have graduated. Different ways of problem solving were discussed, using online personal branding as one of the modern tools to differentiate yourself from competitors.


CULTIVATE YOUR FUTURE Youth Exchange (Fleix and Viver, Spain)

With this project we hope that all young people participating was able to learn to change those bad habits and thoughts that they do not like and that are affecting them negatively in their daily life, and are able to redirect them towards new attitudes and positive customs, valuing their work with self-esteem and self-esteem. And above all, to be motivated to fight to be successful people, happy and proud of what they do and to see that with their effort you can get anything they want.
We also hope that the participants of the exchange became examples and models to follow for other young people like them and in this way they can motivate others to do the same.


BIOCONSTRUCTION Youth Exchange (Viver, Spain)

Aiming to raise awareness, train and empower youth so that they understand the importance of consuming in a more sustainable and responsible way, as well as giving them the tools, training and support necessary to start their own environmental entrepreneurship projects related to sustainability. The main objectives of the project are to stimulate entrepreneurial spirit of youth by giving them tools and competences in order to create and facilitate non-formal education sessions related to environmental issues; to empower and motivate youth to start their own environmental initiatives; and to make youth more aware of the effects of our current consumption habits.


2019

UPCYCLING Youth Exchange (Viver, Spain)

This project aimed to empower youth by giving them the necessary training (knowledge, tools, practice …) to be able to start their own environmental projects / businesses using circular economy and Upcycling. This type of green business does not require a lot of knowledge or big economic investment or materials since is using rural and urban waste, which is transformed into every day and common objects, easily marketable with a high environmental value.

MAKE YOUR PLACE Youth Exchange (Benicàssim, Spain)

The idea of this project was to link the concept of Active Citizenship/Social Inclusion and Placemaking in order to raise awareness among young people about the importance of their involvement in the life of their communities. It was developed in collaboration with our partner Cross of Ideas from Armenia. Active citizenship and a willingness to be engaged in community life is one of the cornerstones of democracy. Active citizens are people who care about their local communities and the places they live in.


WALKING FOR YOUR FUTURE Youth Exchange (Carrícola, Spain)

The project “Walking for your future” was a youth exchange about personal and professional self-development. The main objective of this project was to offer youth (preferably with fewer opportunities and NEET profiles) an educational experience based on non-formal activities in order to improve their personal and professional development. That is why we wanted to empower youth (with real examples) to develop their own ideas and transform them into new projects.


UPCYCLING v2.0 Youth Exchange (Valencia, Spain)

The first edition of this Youth Exchange was made in a rural environment. For the second edition we decided to move it to a urban location so we carried it out in Valencia city, at the neigbourhood of Benimaclet with our colleagues of Terrrikola and Tesura from Cyprus.


2020

UPCYCLING v3.0 Youth Exchange (Valencia, Spain)

The third and last edition of this Youth Exchange was again in Valencia city with Lithuania, Cyprus, Italy, Spain and Portugal, and we included a more artistic aspect to the project with our friends from Metamorfoseto in Greece. You can see the great resulsts of the project.


2021

WASTE TRANSFORMATION & BIOCONSTRUCTION Youth Exchange (Gandia, Spain)

We decided to combine transformation of waste with bioconstruction to create a project focusing on transforming all kind of waste, from rural to urban. The aim of the project was to empower youth to create their own environmental entrepreneurship projects especially on the fields of plastic waste transformation and bioconstruction. We wanted to empower participants by giving them the necessary training, theory, tools and techniques in order to start their own projects from their ideas.


BIOCONSTRUCTION v2.0 Youth Exchange (Gandia, Spain)

The first edition of this Youth Exchange was in a very rural location (Viver) so we decided to move this second one to our headquartes in Gandia at Consell dels Joves in order to build a geodesical dome of recycled plastic and a base of bioconstruction with the technic of superadobe. This was the result.


BIOCONSTRUCTION v3.0 Youth Exchange (Gandia, Spain)

Due to the success of the previous editions, we carried out a third one with the same topics. This time with the dome already mounted, we wanted to finish the base of the dome of superadobe started during the previous edition. We also covered a couple of intermodal containers of 6 meters. 2022

BIOCONSTRUCTION v4.0 Youth Exchange (Gandia, Spain)

A new edition of our Youth Exchange of Bioconstruction was carried out in our office at the Council of Youth in Gandia. This time participants focused on the last year of bioconstruction of the superadobe structure created during the previous editions, as well as finishing the revoke of the intermodal containers.


ENVIRONMENTAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP Youth Exchange (Gandia, Spain)

This Youth Exchange was designed to raise awareness, train and empower youth so that they understood the importance of consuming in a more sustainable and responsible way, as well as giving them the tools, training and support necessary to start their own environmental entrepreneurship projects related to transformation of waste, especially plastics.


BIOCONSTRUCTION v5.0 Youth Exchange (Gandia, Spain)

This is the last edition of the Youth Exchanges related to Bioconstruction. Participants in this edition had the chance to learn how to start new structures and how to finish them with revoke up to the last layer, both for the base of the Dome and for the intermodal containers.


MUSICLING Training Course (Gandia, Spain)

Musicling was a 15 months KA2 Strategic Cooperation Youth project with the main outcome of developing a How-To platform (www.musicling.eu [under construction]) to get inspiration and learn how to create recycled music instruments from trash and how to play them with videos, tools, handouts and step-by-step instructions. This Training Course was the last activity of the project aiming to share all the instruments created in all the countries, test them and finish all the details of the general project, as well as preparing the festivals that would take place later on that year.


2023

WASTE UPCYCLING Training Course (Gandia, Spain)

This Training Course was part of a 12 months KA2 Capacity Building project aiming to develop a mobility scheme to foster entrepreneurial activities on waste upcycling, fully organised and implemented by non profit organisations active in youth mobility, work camps and environmental sector. It was involving India, Cambodia, Thailand, Croatia, Italy and Spain. The Training Course was aiming to give tools, knowledge and all technical aspects on Upcycling, environmental non-formal education methods and entrepreneurship to apply them later in each country.


MAKE YOUR OWN Youth Exchange (Gandia, Spain)

This youth exchange allowed participants to create and facilitate their own activities related to environmental issues and sustainability through different sessions that
they put into practice with the rest of the participants. Also, there was time to learn how to create and manage a non-profit association, all necessary information about the Erasmus+ program, how to write a youth exchange from the very basics to completing an application on the Erasmus+ platform.
